Assam’s Bajali District Assigned to Canara Bank Under Lead Bank Scheme
The Government of Assam has notified the formation of a new district, Bajali, and finalized its jurisdictional demarcation. Pursuant to this development, Canara Bank has been designated as the Lead Bank for Bajali district under the Lead Bank Scheme.
The newly created district has been allotted the District Working Code 01O (Numeral Zero, Numeral One, and Alphabet O).
There is no change in the Lead Bank responsibilities of other districts in the state of Assam.
